What We Do
We supply value-added machining services using our computer numerical control (CNC) machining centers for industries that require aluminum die cast and extrusion of automotive, commercial, appliance, and off-road components. Aside from this, we provide machine steel forgings and castings for the heavy truck industry.
Our team utilizes the latest computer-aided design (CAD) software, including PTC Creo (formerly Pro/Engineer), to work on component models and optimize figure designs. As a manufacturing company, we are also able to provide custom extrusions machined to customer print requirements with warehouse, inventory management, and just-in-time shipments.
Michigan Precision Tool and Engineering provides assembly and sub-assemblies including purchased, fabricated, and machined components. These are shipped on a customer “pull” basis.
We will also engineer and build machining fixtures as required to hold parts accurately for precision machining. Our team does this through manual, pneumatic, and hydraulic work-holding techniques depending on your specific requirements. We also do this to resist machining forces and to optimize loading efficiency.
